Always wanted to drive an artic?
We can arrange an ‘off road’ lorry driver training session driving a 38 ton artic for a special treat or surprise present.
Many people have said that they have always wanted to have a go at driving a large articulated lorry. Well, we can arrange this at a disused airfield near Honiton, Devon. There are several large runways over 1 kilometre long… (Don’t worry no jumbo’s are due) Plenty of taxiways and areas to have a go at the dreaded reversing!
We offer a 1 hour experience which includes a Slalom course, controlled braking and even how to uncouple a trailer. This experience is an individual session not in a group, however friends and family are welcome to attend and have a ride in the cab. If they’re really brave enough! Because this experience is ‘off road’ there is no need to hold a professional LGV licence, a normal car licence is OK.
