Transporting Hazardous Goods by Road
SRTS offers ADR training courses including mandatory ADR core modules, ADR package modules, ADR tanker module and ADR dangerous goods classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9.
Initial ADR courses may be taken upon obtaining a full UK driving licence, ADR refresher coursed may be taken 12 months prior to the expiry of a current ADR certificate but not within the last 6 weeks.
The real world training provided by SRTS has been accrued over the last 30 years. The ADR training includes the analysis, handling and classification of a broad range of dangerous goods and products including hazardous and special wastes.
What is ADR?
Training drivers in moving dangerous items safely and complying with the carriage of dangerous goods and use of transportable pressure equipment regulations 2009.
All drivers carrying dangerous goods within the scope of the carriage of dangerous goods regulations require a vocational training certificate (VTC) issued by the DVLA. The VTC is issued once a driver has satisfactorily completed an approved course.
